Almost one-quarter of Cambridgeshire commuters cycle to work in a bid to beat congestion. The 2006 Travel for Work Partnership survey revealed commuting by car fell for the fourth successive year to 52%, compared with a national average of 71%. The survey was conducted by Travel for Work, a partnership of 10 Cambridgeshire organisations which works with businesses to help promote greener ways to get to work.
