More cover for shelters

CCTV is to be fitted in bus shelters as part of a scheme to boost safety and crack down on anti-social behaviour in Greater Manchester.
The initiative by Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive  will cost £60,000 in total, and target the worst-affected shelters in the conurbation, with up to eight cameras installed in each one. The authority is also aiming to introduce 2,000 new shelters by 2009.
