Mets local transport vision

 
The public and business community across the West Midlands metropolitan area are being invited to help shape the region’s transport system.

Centro is drawing up a local transport plan vision until 2026, in partnership with the seven metropolitan councils.

Centro Chairman Cllr Gary Clarke said: ‘A safe, quick, and reliable transport system will help us fight climate change by reducing our carbon footprint and help create new jobs.’ There will be future consultation on the draft strategy early in 2010.
