Merged service ‘wary’ on winter resilience

 

A council which merged its winter service with a neighbouring authority is uncertain how resilient it would be if severe weather returned. Denbighshire and Conwy councils pooled winter service to improve efficiency. But an update by Denbighshire CC after the fi rst weeks of operation revealed dwindling salt stocks could compromise service delivery.
