Making room for Christmas

Cardiff is upping the capacity of its park-and-ride service to meet a predicted rise in demand over Christmas and the January sales.

The usual park-and-ride sites will remain in operation and possibilities for using existing car parks could boost the amount of spaces to almost 3,000.

During the week, 400 spaces will be made available at Leckwith, and agreements are currently being made for the use of part of the IKEA car park, which could offer an extra 500 spaces.
