Loud protest brings result

An investigation by London Borough of Tower Hamlets has forced Crossrail to admit it underestimated the likely noise from a proposed intervention shaft in Hanbury Street.
Council noise specialist and consultant, Bureau Veritas, examined Crossrail’s technical calculations for the construction site, and found they were incorrect.
The council has now insisted that Crossrail release the corrected information as soon as possible.
