Levelling up project delays ‘astonishing’

 

Parliament’s spending watchdog has found that ‘astonishing’ delays and blind optimism have blunted the impact of levelling up projects.

The Public Accounts Committee found the Government was ‘unable to provide any compelling examples of what levelling up funding has delivered so far,’ having spent just 10% of levelling up funds allocated.
