Lambeth's fleeting chance to reform

Young offenders in Lambeth are helping repair and recycle bicycles, which are then donated to the council’s bike fleet.

Under the guidance of Lambeth Council’s Youth Offending Service, young offenders are helping to repair old bikes for use by council staff when at work. The council’s bike pool scheme has been introduced to allow staff to do their bit for the environment, and get to and from different offices.
