Kent Highway Services swings into action with a fleet of Caddys

Kent Highways Services has introduced a fleet of 60 new vehicles to improve delivery of its service, and improve safety for highways inspectors and other road-users.

The fleet of VW Caddy vans has been introduced so inspectors don’t have to use their own vehicles, meaning they can be more easily identified and carry additional equipment. Members of the public will be able to clearly identify the vans and inspectors, which will help combat issues such as fraudulent tradesmen claiming to be part of the highways team. T

he environment has been taken into consideration too – the VW Caddy’s 1.9 diesel engine is rated Euro 4 for emissions, and is capable of being run on biodiesel.
