Joint deal to shift freight

The Highways Agency has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Freight Transport Association to work more closely together to improve journey times.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will share information and keep each other informed about new transport initiatives. By working together, they can collaborate on mutual interest projects, such as lorry parking and rest areas, and improve incident and breakdown recovery processes.
