Islington turns to residents

Transport for London and Islington council have launched a public consultation on plans to turn Highbury Corner into a more attractive public area with better transport connections.

Local residents are being urged to give their views on three options which could transform the area outside Highbury and Islington station. Improvements to the busy roundabout and surrounding area would make changing between transport services quicker and safer for passengers.

The number of people passing though the hub is expected to rise, especially with increased numbers travelling to and from the Emirates football stadium.
