In line for bus lane rules

 
English local authorities outside London should finally be able to start enforcing bus lane rules by camera this autumn.
The National Parking Adjudication Service has told the Government that eight councils will have completed all necessary steps, including the appointment of bus lane adjudicators, subject to the lord chancellor’s consent. Regulations enacting the Transport Act 2000 powers have been repeatedly delayed. The Government said the last step, to establish an appeal service, was councils’ responsibility.
