Highways: No limits to pupils’ talents

 
Northamptonshire County Council and contractor Atkins are to present prizes to pupils who helped design local roadsigns to help slow down traffic as part of its safer routes to schools initiative.
More than 1,150 designs were submitted in the competition to design roadsigns outside the 16 schools chosen for 20mph speed limits.
County cabinet member for transport, Councillor Bob Seery, said: ‘We had some amazing entries.’
