Highways: It’s a stitch up as Kent builds bridge deck to ease congestion

 
A new bridge is being built alongside an existing cantilever structure on a junction of the M20 in order to remove the need to close the busy London-Dover route. The £3.2M Birse Civils improvement scheme for ~Kent County Council~ on behalf of the ~Highways Agency~ will see the new and existing structures stitched together to form a wider bridge deck, increasing capacity at the motorway’s junction four.
