Highways: City unveils £7M revamp

 
Aberdeen City Council has revealed details of a £7M programme of improvements to roads, footways and streetlighting across the city.
Officers have drawn up a list of priority works after members gave a green light to extra spending earlier this year. Councillors recommended a £4M upgrade of lighting columns in the city, together with three £1M projects to repair road surfaces, footways and to deal with other road-related maintenance and improvements.
