Hereford seeks path funds

Herefordshire Council is seeking £350,000 in lottery funding to go towards creating a new walking and cycling route that will link the north of Hereford city with the south, without having to go through the town centre.
Plans for the route involve linking up a subway built during WW2, that runs under the railway line to the Rotherwas Industrial Estate, with the new designated way for pedestrians and cyclists.
