city council, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow,
Strathclyde Police and the Greater Glasgow Health Board, will be combined under the new community safety unit to tackle anti-social behaviour and promote economic development. ‘Significant money’ would be diverted to frontline services by sharing back-office functions, and services delivery would improved by creating synergies across a range of service areas.
