Glamorgan has price to pay

 
The Welsh Assembly is demanding the return of a multimillion-pound grant given to the Vale of Glamorgan for the abandoned Headland Link footpath scheme.

The scheme, which was ditched when it became too expensive, was axed almost 12 months ago and now the Welsh Government is seeking repayment of a £7.5M grant which was handed over on the condition the scheme went ahead.
