Freight inquiry underway

 

Members of the London Assembly’s Transport Committee have launched an inquiry into the way in which chemicals, waste, retail and other goods are transported around the capital.

The study will assess the impact of increased freight traffic on local roads, the River Thames and canal network as part of its contribution to Transport for London 's consultation on the London Freight Plan which will end on 5 September.
