Forth warning to motorists

Work to resurface the northbound carriageway of the Forth Road Bridge and install equipment to curb cable corrosion began at the weekend.
The work will take place every weekend until 18 June, and subsequently between the weekends of 7 September and 29 October. Motorists are being advised to expect long delays during these periods, and use public transport or take an alternative route.
