Local authority fleet managers have put the UK’s first biofuel vehicles to the test in Somerset.
~Somerset County Council~ demonstrated one of the Ford Focus flexi-fuel vehicles on the 20 March, as part of a conference to demonstrate the benefits of using the first bioethanol-powered car.
Forty of the Ford Focus FFVs will be arriving in Somerset to be used as fleet cars for the county, Avon & Somerset Constabulary and Wessex Water.
