Flood sites identified

The first phase of a comprehensive flooding assessment for Malvern Hills District Council has been completed.

An area assessment of flood problems in the district has identified 15 sites which require further investigation to find possible improvement options. Phase two of the study is now under way, and will involve drawing up a key list of recommended actions and bringing lead agencies together. The action plan is due to be finalised by the end of the year.
