Eyeing up more cameras

 
A new 11-camera CCTV system covering Middlesbrough’s dock and Riverside Stadium has gone live.
The units are the third to be linked to the town-wide broadband CCTV network, which also covers a BMX track and the perimeter of a cemetery. Middlesbrough now has 144 cameras, representing a total investment of £1M, and plans further installations, including at the Town Hall and the soon-to-be-reopened Clairville Stadium, the council said.
