Edinburgh camera plan labelled 'chilling, undemocratic and unlawful'

Edinburgh City Council plans to link its traffic monitoring, bus, tram and community safety CCTV cameras into a single network aimed at improving travel and increasing public security.

However civil liberty campaigners have reacted angrily to the scheme calling it 'chilling, undemocratic and unlawful'.
