Ease of travel sways car use

The convenience of travelling by car is the main reason for people not using bus services in England, rather than issues such as the cost of bus travel and dissatisfaction with services, according to a new government survey.

The Department for Transport poll revealed one in four infrequent/non bus-users said they would travel by bus at least monthly if improvements were made to services.
