Trans European Network transport projects have received a €500M funding boost over the six years up to 2013.
~European Union~ leaders last week agreed a €7.2 bn budget for TENs for 2007-13, including transport and energy projects, a €500M increase over previous budget drafts. Transport’s share will now need to be thrashed out before the current TENs budget expires in December. More is usually spent on transport than energy.
