Driving better health and safety training

Leading by example on roadworker safety, the Highways Agency has launched two £80,000 mobile training vehicles this week.

The 3.0l HPT engined Iveco Daily vehicles are fitted with desks, chairs and audiovisual equipment, taking the ‘classroom’ to workers on any site.

‘The attitude of workers, and the right behaviour, can help them help themselves,’ said Paul Mitchell, health and safety manager at the HA.
