Five companies have been ordered to pay fines and costs totalling more than £18,000 in the most recent court cases.

May Gurney and South West Water were fined £900 and £1,500, respectively, for wilful obstruction of the highway in Ivybridge, and both companies were ordered to pay £209 in costs. In other cases, Western Power Distribution was fined £3,900, BT £3,400, and Wales West Utilities £1,950, plus costs of more than £2,000.
