A new approach is being called to fight the growing numbers of young people killed on Scotland’s rural roads.
Road Safety Scotland and the Institute of Advanced Motorists are both urging parents to teach youngsters about the dangers of the road.
The groups claim some 70% of all Scotland’s fatal accidents are on rural roads, many involving teenagers.
