Database chalks up fans

A national database on chalk aquifers is ‘both desirable and feasible’, a study into groundwater flooding has concluded.
The Jacobs study for the ~Environment Agency~ conducted after the Government adopted a more proactive approach to tackling groundwater floods, says information on areas affected would be best managed locally, as with fluvial flooding.
