County flags up buses

Hertfordshire’s bus stops are being given a makeover, with new names and a new-style flag.

The existing 4,200 bus stops will be upgraded with the new flag over the next year. Features of the flag include the new traveline phone number and, for the first time, each stop will carry its own name – which will either relate to its location or a local landmark.

It is hoped this will help bus users who may be unfamiliar with the area or the bus network.
