Councils shortlisted for drainage pilots

 
Pilots of improved ways of managing urban runoff are set to start in the autumn.
DEFRA has shortlisted 15 groups for the projects to improve ownership of drainage problems in high-risk urban areas, which include Lewes in East Sussex; the city of Leeds; and Camborne, Pool and Redruth in Cornwall. The idea is to examine a range of different approaches to delivering better, more joined-up urban drainage management.
