Compact energy solution

 
A £5M grant from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has enabled the go ahead for an energy-from-waste plant in Bristol.
Avonmouth-based Compact Power Holdings secured the finance to finalise the funding for a new plant, which will have a processing capacity of 34,000 tonnes of household waste a year, producing up to 3.8Mw of renewable energy.
