Collins joins DfT team

Brian Collins, who is currently professor of information systems at Cranfield University, has been appointed as the new chief scientific adviser to the Department for Transport to succeed Professor Frank Kelly.

Prof Collins is formerly chief scientific adviser at the Government Communication Headquarters and has worked for the KPMG, the Welcome Trust and Clifford Chance.
