Coastal protection: Agency issues tide warning

 
The Environment Agency is warning that September and October will see exceptionally high tides, with a consequent risk of flooding.
A record spring tide predicted for 9 September could see levels up to 900mm higher than usual, and the agency has introduced a precautionary evacuation notice in areas particularly at risk in Norfolk at Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton.
