Closing gap on third bridge

A new bridge across the River Don in Aberdeen is set to take an important step forward. The city council submitted a planning application for what would become the city’s third river crossing in January, but consideration of this had to be put on hold while an environmental survey was carried out. This was due last week. The city council is preparing for the possibility that a public inquiry will be required, meaning the £2M framed box-girder structure could take two years to gain approval.
