Opposition councillors have branded Bristol’s £22m cycling city project a ‘colossal failure’. The deputy leader of Bristol City Council’s Conservative group, Cllr Peter Abraham, said the three-year project to double the number of cyclists in the city had been a ‘huge waste’ of money.
