City diversion under way for Tram

The next phases of the utility diversion work for the Edinburgh Tram project has started at the city’s Haymarket interchange.

Temporary traffic-management solutions have been carefully modelled to ensure the free flow of traffic, and the continued safety of the general public, through this phase of the work.

Willie Gallagher, executive chairman of tie, said: ‘The Haymarket location is both a vital artery to the city and a critical part of the Edinburgh Tram project.’
