A legal challenge left ~Northamptonshire County Council~ unable to set a budget for transport and other services last week.
The full council was stopped from setting its budget when a judicial review was requested by residents representing disabled groups over proposed service cuts. While the High Court this week overturned the bar on setting a budget, the county is still only able to set out headline spending and tax levels, but not allocations for service areas. A court hearing is expected later this month.
