Cash for tracking graffiti

A £1,000 reward is being offered by the four South Yorkshire councils to help track down the worst offending graffiti vandals in the region.
Sheffield City Council this week launched a new partnership with the charity Crimestoppers, South Yorkshire Police and the county’s local authorities to wipe out graffiti. The council and the police will distribute posters showing the most prolific ‘tags’ to the public, who will be asked to phone Crimestoppers if they recognise one.
