Cash for nappy changing

Derby City Council is offering £25 grants to encourage local parents to use washable ‘real’ nappies, part of a campaign to reduce the number of disposal nappies being sent to landfill.
It estimates that each child gets through one tonne of disposal nappies at a cost of some £700, compared with just £250 for using modern, washable nappies.
