Cash backing for bus plan

Greater Manchester Public Transport Authority has announced plans to invest £560,000 in a proposed £1M bus station in Radcliffe town centre.

It is hoped the new facility will help tackle congestion by encouraging more people to use buses.
Work on the project – which forms part of a plan to transform Radcliff town centre – could begin as early as summer 2008.
