Contracts are due to be signed this spring, launching the London Boroughs of Barnet and Enfield’s £140M joint project to upgrade streetlighting under the private-finance initiative. Over the first five years of the 25-year term, preferred bidder David Webster will replace most of Barnet’s 30,000 and Enfield’s 25,000 lampposts, with the help of £27.7M of PFI credits.
