Birse lands airport link

Construction of Luton Airport’s new link road to junction 10A of the M1 will start on 19 June.

The £16M contract for the East Luton Corridor has been awarded to Birse Civils. As well as supporting the airport’s expansion, Luton borough’s biggest-ever highway scheme will ‘ease local congestion and aid regeneration of the town,’ said Cllr Andy Strange, executive member for transport.
