‘Best’ graduates targeted

Aberdeenshire Council has launched a graduate sponsorship scheme to attract the ‘brightest and best’ engineers following their graduation.

The sponsorship scheme is aimed at enabling students interested in working in a local government environment to undertake a wide range of engineering and transportation activities.

The scheme is now in its second year, and is open to students entering their third or later year of study. Sponsored candidates will commit to paid employment with the council during the summer and Easter holidays, and will join the council on full employment following their studies.
