Work is due to start in Cambridge on an innovative artwork to mark the 10,000th mile of the National Cycle Network in the UK.
The new Addenbrooke to Great Shelford cycling route, which opened in August, will receive a work of art consisting of more than 10,000 stripes representing the genetic code for a vital human gene – BRCA2 – which is needed to repair our DNA.
