A737 upgrade under way

A £1.2M road rebuilding project in Scotland is to get under way in June.

More than one mile of the A737 between Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire is to be rebuilt, together with other improvements to lines, footways, drainage and the laying of an anti-skid surface. The work, expected to last 12 weeks, will see the road reduced to one lane, with traffic signals in place.
