A rail bus bashing

A busy rail bridge crossing a road was closed at the weekend after a ‘bus bashing’.

A double decker bus collided with the bridge in Bramford near Ipswich on Sunday, forcing the closure of the line to London’s Liverpool Street while the bridge was inspected. A Network Rail spokeswoman said: ‘Sadly, bus bashings are very common.’
