£6M lure floated for marina

‘More than £6M’ would be spent on transport improvements to accompany a £235M redevelopment of the 1970s Brighton Marina, with buildings of up to 40 storeys.
A new bus and taxi waiting room, a new commuter bus service and almost 900 bicycle parking spaces are included. But Brunswick Developments has increased the parking spaces from 171 to 491 following concerns that there would be insufficient provision for 853 apartments and tourists attracted to a new public viewing gallery.
Councillors threw out the previous application last autumn.
