£350k bus facility unveiled

A new, £350,000 bus station is to be launched in Runcorn on Friday, to coincide with European Mobility Week.

The new-look Halton Lea North Bus Station ‘gives passengers better facilities and making the area safer’. The council said it provided better protection against bad weather, new information boards, extra, new seating, designated waiting areas for people with wheelchairs and tactile tiles to assist the visually-impaired.
